There is never enough time! And repeat! Have noticed some signs of anxiety lately. Not the kind to alter my medication but enough to take stock and slow down (as if) and give myself some down time…

That said I was able to get here yesterday also before my GP appointment and it’s been a bit of a quiche week. Yesterday it was a quiche with Mediterranean veggies.

No Hellonwheels today as my scooter shed is not up yet and she is currently without power.

She is not the Mothers Cat in this case it’s my mobility scooter.

Today’s Lunch

I confess to say food doesn’t motivate me today. But, you know its fuel for the body and all that.

I’ve got a crappy cold! (Again!) this one is likely stress-related. As I’m moving house next Tuesday……. Today’s offering is a mushroom and sundried tomato Arancini with a side salad and medicine.

Apart from my cold, I have the added bonus of a rib out. That’s going to-be fun when my chiro puts that back in and sore tummy muscles. (Side-note: there is no muscle memory in that region!) and an added disability today…….this is a great way for able-bodied people to feel an instant deficit if you are game?

I’m a big texter and I’m a thumb-texter. Today, I’ve a Band-Aid on my thumb! It’s a new form of torture………

Lastly, feeling very-frustrated my case-management agency is undoing all my organizing and not helping me.

I did however hear my new NDIS funding has been approved! What that actually means is a completely different story.

Today’s Lunch

Missing Young John as Spring has really settled in. Freezing cold rugged up on the couch under a doona with the heater on! Just freezing. But making him proud today by walking to the tram.

It started to rain lightly just short of the tram stop but I’m in full-winter mode today. Full Marino wool jacket & my heavy jacket with the hood where I can’t see a foot in front of me.

Sitting waiting for lunch & have done 1,300 steps already. Still can’t feel my left foot but, here we are! Winning!
Do I need to tell you all what this is? Including today’s complimentary Chocolate Mignon.
(Oh, look her hair looks lovely today!)

Anyway, always feel a bit like a wanker when i take a photograph of my foot. At least I don’t have a food only Insta account right?

Well, its Hump Day again!

Hibernated yesterday and had the kind of day I was threatening murder. Not mine preferably just other people.

So, today’s meal is another Arancini with Bolognaise and a standard side-salad. It’s like a saucy-meaty risotto with crunchy goodness on the outside.

And thanks to my cheap-ass coffee rewards card todays coffee was complimentary, with the little chocolate Mignon. So, yum!

Hump day

Today’s Lunch – 19th July 2017

Todays lunch So, lunch is early today. Sadly, Young John is off to the bank. To get a loan, so he and his wife Young Betty can go visit her parents who are not well.

I wish I could help him.

It is what I refer to in Melbourne today as Full-Winter! I am wearing my Marino wool jacket and my heavy jacket with my hood, add a Marino wool scarf and my cuff and collar I resemble an Eskimo.

Not looking forward to seeing my chiro today. I have a rib out and when it goes back in, it hurts. Then when she massages the muscles around the same rib at the front under my left ‘girl’ it tickle/hurts. I am often grabbing my chiros thigh when it gets to be too much. Kinda “you hurt me? I hurt you!” She will say, “Mmmm, That’s good actually!” Making me thing I’m doing it wrong.
Anyway, the day goes on.

Hope your Hump Day is going to include a coffee and some delicious food.

Today’s usual arancini is looking a little flat for some reason. Kinda how I’m feeling this fine Hump Day mid-winter Melbourne.

Side Note; When in Rome do not order a Latte! You will get what you asked for….a glass of milk.

There is something I really appreciate about the routine of my Wednesday. The crazy part of my week is done. From here to Friday there are generally no surprises.
